Training and Workshops

VOICE is actively supporting professionalism in the humanitarian NGO sector. In the framework of the capacity-building project (co-financed by a DG ECHO Grant Facility), VOICE regularly provides practical training for staff of humanitarian NGOs. Since 2008, VOICE has organised several courses on Sphere (Course outline ) and on accountability in humanitarian aid (Course outline).

These trainings are carried out by organisations specialised in providing for NGO capacity building on quality and accountability related issues. They are designed to meet the day-to-day needs of NGO staff working in humanitarian aid, both in the field and at headquarters.

Training sessions range from one to three days in length and are organised in Brussels, Belgium. Courses are delivered in English.

VOICE trainings are open to VOICE members and DG ECHO NGO Partners. Training participation is free of charge, including lunch and materials. The cost of travel and accommodation are at participants’ own expense.

Upcoming Training Opportunities:  please have a look at the News section on our home page!

To receive more information about the training(s) that interest you, please write to VOICE or phone us at +32 (0)2 5411360.
