VOICE Out Loud no. 20 - Towards the World Humanitarian Summit: an inclusive process? NEW[04/12/2014] As European preparations for the World Humanitarian Summit get underway, we are pleased to present the latest issue of VOICE Out Loud that deals with the process towards the Summit, which will take place in Istanbul in 2016. This issue of our newsletter invites our NGOs to highlight what for them are key questions on each of the main themes of the Summit. VOICE Out Loud no. 19 – A closer look at EU Humanitarian Aid [26/09/2014] We are pleased to present the latest issue of VOICE Out Loud that takes a closer look at EU humanitarian aid. 2014 is a year of institutional change in the EU, with new members of the European Parliament and Commission. With that in mind, in this issue of our newsletter NGOs look at the state of the EU’s current humanitarian aid policies and challenges from different angles. Among other highlights in this edition are an interview with Mr. François Bellon, the EU representative for the International Committee of the Red Cross and articles looking at the role of NGOs in reducing disaster risk and addressing gender in humanitarian programming. more
