Seeking to involve its members in advocacy, common positioning and information exchange, VOICE is the main NGO interlocutor with the European Union on emergency aid and disaster risk reduction and it promotes the values of humanitarian NGOs. more

VOICE Out Loud N.21 - European Year for Development: what's in it for humanitarian aid? NEW[21/05/2015] In the first ever year devoted to European Union’s external actions and Europe’s role in the world, we are pleased to present the latest issue of VOICE Out Loud that deals with the European Year for Development. This issue of our newsletter invites our NGOs to highlight humanitarian issues where they consider the importance of longer-term action crucial. We also hear about EU’s role at a global level in the 2015 UN summits, the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit and the EU humanitarian budget. Finally, the Ukrainian crisis is discussed in terms of encountered difficulties in reaching the most vulnerable and the consequences of instability. more
